Payment Methods
Authentication Method
This kind of payment is designed to provide means of convenience and increase the verification element payment services by China UnionPay. Presently bank card payment support mobile verification, means the card holders without open online banking can still access UnionPay online payment page to enter the information (ie card number, password, CVN2 etc.) and phone number, verify the information by the issuing bank to complete the payment transaction.

Normal Payment
Refers to the cardholder bank card online payment, simply enter the debit card number, transaction password, or Bonus card number, validity, CVN2 to complete the payment without adding new security authentication. For the convenience of the cardholder, cardholder can complete payment and open service at the same time.

During the payment process, UnionPay online payment system redirect the user to the bank web page and require to enter information to complete payment. User selecing this payment method must be the user of the online banking.

• Card information and payment password is submitted through the China UnionPay standard secure channel to the payment gateway rather than passed by the online merchant system.

Business Process
1. The cardholder selects goods on merchant website, adding to the shopping cart and place the order.
2.Through the acquiring institution's switching system, the relevant order information is sent to the Union UPOP system. Meanwhile, the browser will be redirect to UPOP payment page.
3.UPOP payment support 5 payment methods. The cardholder chooses one payment method to pay according to their needs or favorite. Then, cardholder need to enter relevant information in the UPOP payment page.
4.UPOP system will convert the currency of the cross-border transaction, and the relevant payment information will send to the issuing bank for verification.
5.After the issuing bank confirmed the verification, UPOP system will verify the result of the issuer and other relevant information to the acquirer, through cardholder browser page to inform its trading result.
